STEPHANIE AVELINO IBCLC After joining our staff 8 years ago with multiple years of experience as a volunteer breastfeeding counsellor, Stephanie completed additional training and has been a board certified lactation consultant since 2009. A former English major, with a particular interest in writing, Stephanie helps us in creating and editing print materials and articles as well as our new online blog. Stephanie especially enjoys the phone counselling part of her work at Lactation Care. She can often be found making check in calls to clients or fielding questions on incoming calls. In each call, Stephanie aims to provide encouragement and support and make sure her client feels she has some concrete ideas or strategies to try and use right away.
